My dear friend Karan

I hope you are doing well there. I am very happy to tell you that how we celebrated the Independence Day at our school.

It was like a festive season for 5 days. Each day separate programs were organized for both morning and evening shifts. The morning shifts were devoted to live debates, essay writing competition, Hindi & English Poetry, Drawing Competition depicting the struggle and sacrifices of our freedom fighters, symposium etc. The evenings shift presented the cultural dance and drama, Indian classic music and patriotic songs. Parents of the students and elite people of the society were the guest in these cultural programs in both the shifts. Every single shift was dedicated to some particular freedom fighters. These activities inspired everyone to do something for our country. Speeches of the guests were also magical and motivational for us and we are really inspired to do good things in the future for the nation. At the end of the festive season, our chief guest The Director of Education Sir hoisted the tricolor flag and distributed the prizes to the winners after national anthem. He appreciated all of us for organising such a remembering and beautiful program. I really enjoyed this celebration of Independence Day.
