My joy knew no bounds when I opened the parcel containing the wrist watch you had sent to me as a birthday gift. I heartily thank you for the same.
This year we had a grand party on my birthday in our house instead of in a hotel. All of our relatives, except you, and my friends attended it. The guests thoroughly enjoyed the party. However, I missed you all the time.
The watch you sent is quite attractive. I was badly in need of it. I had been getting late to school without a watch. I had been warned by my class-teacher more than twice for it. I was also getting late whenever I went to watch a movie or play a game. Now and then I had to ask the passers by the time. I was also feeling difficulty during the examinations as was unable to make a time schedule for answering different questions. This had an adverse effect on my result also. Now that you have given me a wrist-watch, I will have no more-such problems.
