To,

The Postmaster,

General Post Office,

Delhi.

Dear Sir,

I regret to complain against Mr. Rishi Pal, a postman of our beat. He has no sense of duty. He is most careless, irregular and irresponsible in the discharge of his duties. He either delivers my Dak very late or to wrong persons, or to children playing in the street outside my house.

There is a letter-box outside my house. It bears my name on it. But postman does not care to put the letters into the letter box. The result is that these letters often fall into the hands of children who tear them to pieces. Many important letters have been lost and I have been put to a great loss and inconvenience. I have asked the postman many a time to deliver my Dak regularly and properly but my repeated requests have fallen on deaf ears.

I would, therefore, request you to look into the matter and take proper action against the postman so that he may be careful in delivering the letters in future.

Yours Faithfully,

Sant Ram
