Respected Sir/Madam,
I regret to bring your kind notice the unsatisfactory state of sanitary conditions in our locality. It is a tiny hell on earth. The roads and drains are in deplorable condition. They have not been repaired for the last many years. As a result, they have broken down and have become full of holes where water accumulates and mosquitoes breed and minor accidents frequently take place. Filthy gutters are in ugly sight. They give out nauseating foul smell.
The sweepers and the water carriers visit this locality only once in a while. So almost all streets in our locality remain buried under rubbish and filth. There are no dustbins on either side of the road. There is not even a urinal for the passers-by to make water.
Here and there the stray dogs and cattle can be seen feeding themselves on the garbage. The little children ease themselves on the drains. If this state of affairs is allowed to continue, Cholera, Malaria or Typhoid is likely to break out.
I, therefore, personally as well as on behalf of members of our association, request you to look into the matter personally and take necessary steps in this regard. The residents of this locality will be thankful to you.
