A Street Fight (Quarrel) Scene I Have Seen : Very Short Essay in English Language for Schools Exams
Quarrels in the streets are common. These arise over trifles and add colour to the dull life. I was witness one such quarrel that took place the other day. Ram and Sham live in the same street. They play together. Once Ram was playing with bat and ball. Sham was passing by.
By chance the ball hit Sham hard on the head. It began to bleed. Sham started weeping and went straight to his mother. Her anger knew no bounds. She was shouting and abusing and became furious. She stormed into the house of Ram. Their husbands also joined the fray.
The quarrel took an ugly turn. The other people of the street seemed to enjoy the quarrel. But they did not intervene. Someone rang the police. As soon as the police arrived at the scene the crowd melted away. The police took four persons to the Police Station. The peace talks started soon after the police went away.
By the next morning both the parties patched up their differences and promised to be good neighbours once again. Thus the quarrel ended. Both the neighbours started living together once again.
