My House or The House I Live In : Essay in English Language for Examinations.
I live in a newly built and spacious single storey house. It has an area of 500 square metres. It is situated in one of the posh areas of South Delhi. It has four bedrooms, one dining and drawing room, three attached bathrooms, a study room, a store, a kitchen and a garage. It has also a single room servant quarter. All the rooms are well-ventilated and well lighted, tastefully decorated and furnished.
Our kitchen has two cupboards, a gas-stove, a dish-washer, and a frost-free fridge. It has a water tap, a sink and the cooking platform made of white marble slabs. Our spacious drawing-room is tastefully decorated with curtains, paintings, pictures, tube-lights and wall-hangings. It has a sofa-set, a diwan, four cushioned chairs and a centre table. We also keep our coloured T.V. in the drawing room.
There is a small garden in front of our house. I spent my evenings tending flower plants and watering them. There is also an open yard at the back of the house. We raise vegetables in it. In short, our house is equipped with all the modern amenities and electronic gadgets. I am really proud of my lovely house.
