A Scene of An Examination Hall : Essays/Paragraphs in English Language for Students Exams.
An examination is a curse and a terror to students. And when a student enters into an examination hall the terror is at its height. Thus, the examination hall presents an atmosphere of tension, nervousness and excitement. In it, they are a sight worth seeing – they have unshaved beards, disheveled hair, hollow cheeks, careworn, yellow and haggard faces. Their hearts begin to beat fast as they sit waiting for the question paper.
As soon as the question papers are distributed, their faces change colour and calmness descends on the scene. All the examinees busy themselves in first reading the question paper carefully and then writing down the answers in the answer-sheets. No one has time to attend to anything else or to talk to someone else. Thus, perfect peace prevails. Soon the hall looks like a graveyard. Supervisors keep pacing up and down the rooms.
Their stern serious and searching eyes are constantly on the look for some unfair means cases. Sometimes flying squad members storm the hall and search each candidate. Sometimes there is a stir in the hall when a student is caught copying. At the end of the examination, the tension and fear is over.
