My favourite subject is English and Mrs.Vibha Anand teaches me the subject in school. My school follows two textbooks for English of which one is for English Grammar and one is for English literature. English is my favourite subject in school as it is interesting and easy to study. I have always scored well in the subject because I understand it well. I never get bored of it and I am always ready to study it. English has always been one of my most favourite subjects, since childhood. I love to read novels and different storybooks. This helps me with exploring my skills to write and communicate by learning new words every day. Reading helps me in improving my vocabulary and grammatical errors.
There are many reasons why I enjoy studying English. The major one is that it enhances my reading skills. This subject has a vast collection of exciting and thrilling stories and poems based on fiction and real-life events. I love to read books and novels. Whenever I get spare time, I read English books. I have read many books so far.
My favourite novel is Harry Potter. It’s a series of seven books. I have read all of them. English is my favourite subject not just because I get good marks in it. It is my favourite subject because the English language is an international language of commerce, science, medicine, business, and many other key areas. It is the world’s lingua franca or common language. I like English as a subject as it allows me to express my thoughts and views in simple words.
