A Ceiling Fan: Factual Description Essays/Short Paragraphs in English Language for Exams.
A ceiling fan is a device worked by electricity to circulate air in a room. It has three or four blades. These blades are attached to a long rod suspended by a bracket or a hook fixed in the ceiling of the room. The blades rotate in order to create a current of air. Below the rod there is a rotator attached to a hub. It is connected to a switch.
The motor changes electric current into kinetic energy which works the blades. The blades are made of Aluminium or some other material and have tilted edges. They are so made as to cut air efficiently and drive the heat out of the room.
There is regulator to control the speed of the fan. We can increase or decrease the speed of the fan with the help of the regulator.
