The Little Red Hen Moral Story

Once upon a time, in a picturesque countryside, there lived a little red hen named Ruby. Ruby was a diligent and hardworking hen who spent her days pecking for food and tending to her cozy nest in the barn.

One bright morning, as Ruby was scratching the ground for seeds, she stumbled upon a handful of wheat grains scattered across the soil. With a cluck of excitement, she called out to her farmyard friends – a lazy cat named Max, a sleepy dog named Daisy, and a carefree duck named Oliver – to help her plant the wheat.

“Who will help me plant these wheat grains?” Ruby asked, looking at her friends with hopeful eyes.

But Max, Daisy, and Oliver were too preoccupied with their own activities to lend a helping wing. “Not I,” they each replied dismissively, continuing with their lazy routines.

Undeterred by her friends’ indifference, Ruby decided to plant the wheat grains herself. Day after day, she worked tirelessly, tilling the soil, sowing the seeds, and watering the ground with care.

As the weeks went by, the wheat grains sprouted and grew into tall, golden stalks of wheat, swaying gently in the breeze. Ruby tended to the wheat with unwavering dedication, protecting it from pests and ensuring it received enough sunlight and water.

When the wheat was finally ready for harvest, Ruby once again called out to her friends for help. “Who will help me harvest this wheat?” she asked, her voice filled with hope.

But once again, Max, Daisy, and Oliver were too lazy to lend a helping wing. “Not I,” they replied lazily, lounging in the shade of the barn.

With a sigh of resignation, Ruby decided to harvest the wheat herself. She worked tirelessly, cutting the stalks and gathering the grains into a neat pile, her wings aching from the effort.

Once the wheat was harvested, Ruby set to work grinding the grains into flour. She toiled day and night, using a makeshift millstone to grind the wheat until it turned into fine flour.

Finally, after days of hard work, Ruby had a bag of freshly ground flour ready to be made into bread. She kneaded the dough with her wings and shaped it into a perfect loaf before placing it in the oven to bake.

As the scent of freshly baked bread filled the barn, Max, Daisy, and Oliver emerged from their lazy slumber, their mouths watering with anticipation. “Who will help me eat this delicious bread?” Ruby asked, looking at her friends with a twinkle in her eye.

But Max, Daisy, and Oliver hung their heads in shame, realizing that they had missed out on the opportunity to help Ruby every step of the way. “We should have helped you from the beginning,” they admitted regretfully.

With a warm smile, Ruby invited her friends to join her at the table, where they shared the delicious bread together. And as they enjoyed the fruits of Ruby’s labor, Max, Daisy, and Oliver learned a valuable lesson about the importance of hard work, cooperation, and helping others in need. From that day forth, they made a promise to always lend a helping wing and never let laziness stand in the way of friendship and teamwork. And Ruby, the little red hen, continued to be a shining example of diligence, perseverance, and kindness in the barnyard.
