“Say No To Polythene Bags” Campaign Report Writing in English Language for Students Examinations.

In order to spread mass awareness among the general public a campaign was organized in Hashmukh Nagar, Santacruz West, Mumbai yesterday about banning the use of polythene plastic bags. In the campaign, women, men, boys, girls and students participated with awareness banners and slogans.
Campaigners told the public that polythene bags are very dangerous for our health. These plastic bags spread cancerous diseases and create other health hazards for all of us. If burnt they emit out many poisonous gases. They even choke the drains & disturb the fertility of soil and reduce the crop production. Animals and birds eat them by mistake and become ill.
Being weak in nature, polythene bags are very unfit for putting articles as these are liable to wear and tear. Even the articles become unhygienic if we keep them in these bags for a long time. Housewives and other people came outside from their houses to listen to the campaigners. They took a pledge not to use the polythene plastic bags at all. It was a great success for all the campaigners.
