The SSC exam, also known as the Staff Selection Commission exam, is a national-level competitive exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission of India. It is conducted to recruit staff for various posts in ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India and its subordinate offices.

The SSC conducts several exams throughout the year for different levels of qualifications, including:-

SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL): This exam is conducted for recruitment to Group B and Group C posts in various ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India.

SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination (SSC CHSL): This exam is conducted for recruitment to the posts of Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Data Entry Operator (DEO), Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, and Court Clerk.

SSC Junior Engineer Examination (SSC JE): This exam is conducted for recruitment to the posts of Junior Engineers in various departments of the Government of India.

SSC Multi-Tasking Staff Examination (SSC MTS): This exam is conducted for recruitment to the posts of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) in various ministries, departments, and organizations of the Government of India.

SSC Stenographer Examination: This exam is conducted for recruitment to the posts of Stenographer Grade C (Group B Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade D (Group C Non-Gazetted).

SSC Constable (GD) Examination: This exam is conducted for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in various paramilitary forces such as BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, etc.

These exams are highly competitive, and candidates need to undergo a selection process that includes a written exam (Tier-I and Tier-II), skill tests, and interviews (where applicable).
