A Visit to A Zoo Park – Short Paragraph in English Language
Delhi is my hometown and I live there. There is a zoo in our city. I visited it last Saturday along with my friends. We bought tickets and went in the zoo park. We saw many kinds of birds and beasts in their natural environment. Delhi zoo covers a vast area of land and is divided into various sections for keeping different kinds of animals and birds.
There are separate enclosures for each species like bears, pigs, elephants, monkeys, lions, tigers, wolves, rhinos, etc. Swans, ducks and other water birds are kept in ponds. Deer, Jackals, Stags, Rabbits and Foxes are kept in the artificial forests, specially made for them. The enclosures for Apes, Moneys, Gurillas, Langurs and Chimpanzees have special attraction for visitors. They delight and amuse one and all by their pranks and strange behavior. We also saw Tigers and Lions. These are kept in enclosures around which there are wide and deep moats. We also saw a pair of white tigers and lions. We also saw Canaries, Nightingales, Parrots, Swallows, Peacocks, Cranes, Gulfs, Ducks, Geese and Herons. We saw a fish pond. There were small and big fish of many colours. We saw many small and big snakes in a muddy pond. They were fearful to look at. It is not an easy job to manage a zoo. A large number of trained men are needed to feed, control and discipline wild birds and animals. Sometimes they have to face dangers and risk their own lives.
