We all know what a hospital is. It is a place where the sick and the wounded are taken care of. There is lot of pain and sufferings in the world. Our hospitals, clinics and nursing homes are full of patients. The very sight presents a frightening scene. I have often visited the Civil Hospital in my city. It is a fine building. It is divided into many wards. There is separate arrangement for male and female patients. A lady doctor looks after the female patients. There are separate departments for dental and eye-care.
There is an operation theatre as well as an X-ray department. There are many laboratories to test blood, urine and stools. All are properly maintained. Qualified doctors are in-charge of these departments. There is a band of nurses to look after the indoor patients. Nurses are dressed in white. We can see them going about their duty.
The patients are properly treated, well looked after and get efficient service at the hospital. There are doctors who are full of humanitarian spirit. They work with a missionary spirit. They are angels of love and service. But certainly there are doctors who aim at amassing great wealth. They are professionals and want to earn money.
